Under a physician's advice, with COVID numbers decreasing, and since nearly everyone going on the trip has already had Covid, and thus likely have natural immunity to it, our Covid prep plan/guidance is as follows:
Minimize your social interactions the week before the trip.
If you have COVID-like symptoms right before leaving on the trip, get tested. A home-test can be done immediately before the departure date. If you test positive, do not come on the trip. This could mean the difference between having a sick person expose many others and avoiding that scenario entirely.
Bring your own personal treatment supplements that can be taken if you get sick with Covid while on the trip. It is your decision which treatment supplements to bring, since there is divergent literature on what works and what doesn't for outpatient COVID treatment.
If someone gets sick (of any kind) while on the trip, pray over them and ask God for healing.
Masks are optional on the trip.
