Applications are open to all. 
Trips are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.

Step 1
  • Pray. :)

​Step 2
  • If you are interested in going on a trip and can attend most of the trip meetings, complete the Interest questions, below. 

Step 3
  • If you are new to LWS mission trips, attend the Informational Meeting for your trip. If you have already been on a LWS mission trip, you can skip this meeting.

Step 4
  • Send in the first payment by the deadline shown below. ​

Step 5
  • Turn in the Application Form, below, and final payment. If more people apply than space allows, higher priority will be given to those who submit the full Application Form and make the final payment earliest, have been on prior LWS mission trips, contribute in meetings, and have skills needed for the team. 

Step 6
  • Attend all team meetings. 

Step 7
  • Read the Handbook and start your Journal. These can be downloaded, below.

Interest

If you​ are interested in participating in a Living Waters Spanish Mission trip, please answer the following questions:

​Informational meeting

If you are new to LWS mission trips, please attend the online Informational Meeting on: 
  • Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
  • This informational meeting is for both the March and June trips.
  • If you have already been on a LWS mission trip, this meeting is optional. 
  • If the meeting already happened, you can watch a recording here.

Your passport needs to be valid through at least 6 months past your trip dates. If your current passport expires before six months after your trip, apply for a new passport at least 4 months prior to your departure date.

Once you have your passport, apply for a Tourist/Visitor visa.

Step 4
​First Payment

First payment is due for the March RSM trip on January 10.
First payment is due for the June FFHM trip on February 19.

       On February 1 for the March RSM trip;

If your child is under 18 and travelling without a parent on either trip, and you want to widen the scope of care your child's guardian may provide during the trip, the form below allows the guardian to provide clothing, food and shelter, and to generally act in loco parentis. This form is not required.

​Team meetings

Attend all team meetings:
  • RSM (March trip): Jan. 15, Feb. 5, Feb. 26, and an optional prayer meeting on March 5. ​  
  • FFHM (June trip): February 19, April 16, May 14 and an optional prayer meeting on May 28.

refund policy

If Living Waters Spanish cancels a trip, you are entitled to a full refund of the trip price, minus $95. LWS is not responsible for lost airfare or other costs than the trip fee it charges.

If you cancel a trip:
  • at least two months before your trip departure date, your payment can be applied to a different Living Waters Spanish trip taking place within 18 months of the trip for which you canceled.
  • less than two months before your trip departure date, 50% of the full trip price can be applied to a future Living Waters Spanish trip taking place within 18 months of the trip for which you canceled.  50% is non-refundable. 

If the border is shut:
  • over 30 days before the trip departure date, you will be entitled to a full refund, minus $95 per applicant.
  • less than 30 days before the trip departure date, you will be entitled to either:
    • apply your full payment amount toward a future LWS trip within 18 months of your original trip start-date, or
    • a full refund minus your share of LWS's unrecoverable trip expenses.
